David's YoYo Club
3rd Saturday, 9:00 to 10:00 am
Come have fun with David -- He's gone crazy over YoYos! David was inspired by the quilt on the cover of American Patchwork & Quilting magazine a few months ago and is creating his own version. He will be using Kaffe Fassett fabrics and then applique the yoyos to a background to complete the quilt. By joining David's YoYo Club, you can have fun with this too! The first meeting will be on Saturday, September 19 from 9:00 to 10:00 am. At that time, you will receive 6 strips of 6" fabric, the XL yoyo maker and a special project bag for all your "stuff." Sign up cost is $25. Then each month on the 3rd Saturday from 9:00 to 10:00, you will receive another 6 - 6" strips, plus ideas on how to use the yoyos and other surprises. The monthly cost will be $15. At the end of 10 months, you will have enough yoyos to complete the quilt!

Jo's Little Women Club 11 -- Online

Starts February 2012 -- You are invited to step back in time and make small quilts and needful things to enjoy in your home or give as gifts. Jo Morton is inspired by antique quilts, and her fabric collections for Andover Fabrics reflect colors she loves to use in reproducing many of those antique quilts in smaller versions. This club has 8 projects of different sizes, plus a small "bonus" quilt. All the patterns include Jo's excellent directions, along with color graphics, for piecing, pressing, and quilting the small quilts. Patterns for the Club are available only to members, and only members may purchase the optional kits each month. We will make the kits as close as possible to Jo's color choices, depending upon fabric availability. Club members will also receive a 10% discount on all purchases in the shop or online. (Discount does not apply to club kits because of the time involved in making them). We are doing this a little differently this time! Because the Club patterns are designed to support Jo's fabric collections, we will be sending 5 "Jo's Little Keepers" (9" x 10" each) to ALL members along with the pattern and newsletter each month! These pieces will be cut from one of the newest collections in the shop, and you will be able to use them in making your quilts, or add to your collection. Plus, these are a great size for applique, making pincushions, ornaments or other small items! The cost for the 8 months of mailings will be $55. If you choose to preorder the Club kits, they will be sent to you with the monthly mailing at no additional postage charge.
