Learn Punchneedle Embroidery from Shawn Williams. Whether it is your first time or you just want to improve your skills, Shawn will help you to learn punchneedle. Shawn will talk about different needles, hoops, fabric and techniques. All supplies and patterns provided

When people ask me, “How long have you been doing this?” I reply, “I was born with a needle in my hand.” My love for needlework along with a creative spirit has been my life. I started selling my work at craft shows in 1980. In 1996 I met a pattern designer who encouraged me to design my own pattern line and as simple as it seems I published my first pattern that year. To date I’ve designed over 150 different patterns for cloth dolls, stitch work, appliqué, and punchneedle embroidery. I’ve learned a lot about photography, computers, and printing along the way. Most recently I’ve learned the process of screen printing for producing my punchneedle patterns. I love having the chance to teach others what I know and to encourage their own creative spirit.
