I was born in 1948 in Fayetteville and have always lived in this area. I've been retired for 9 years from the Springdale Public School System where I taught English for 9 years and was a library media specialist for 19 years. I started making quilts about 7 years ago when my 80 year old mother decided she wanted to make a quilt. I thought it looked like fun and got hooked! I particularly like paper piecing, and curved piecing. My favorite quilt maker is Louis L. Smith with her strips'n curves quilts.
