Yes, we are starting our Block of the Month for knitting! We will meet the first Thursday evening or the 2nd Saturday morning -- Your choice of which session to attend -- beginning in February! This is a 12-month adventure -- We will make blocks and learn so much! So, you know how to knit and purl? This will teach you each month how to do more stitches, read patterns, understand how to enhance or embellish your project! We will start with seed stitch and stockinette stitch blocks, so this project is open to beginners. We will make 2 blocks a month and then finish with the border. This will make a nice throw, or add more of your favorite blocks! Blocks will be designed by Danielle, and combined with block designs from the book. Cost is $15 a month (this includes the lesson from Danielle and 1 skein of Vintage Yarn each month) You will need to purchase your book Block by Block and your own needles. Other notions will be optional throughout the year of making the blocks!

Danielle is a very talented young lady and is our resident knitting instructor. She has lots of ideas for projects with yarn and patience to help beginners get started.
